Dual-Plane Aviation Turboprop Engine Vibration Isolation System
Dual-Plane Aviation Turboprop Engine Vibration Isolation System
Medium to large-sized aviation turboprop engines with power ratings ranging from 1500 kW to 5000 kW are suitable for medium-sized and larger transport and passenger aircraft. They represent the strength of a nation's aviation industry and hold strategic significance in both commercial and military aviation sectors.
The vibrations and torques generated during the operation of these medium to large-sized turboprop engines are particularly strong, especially the harmful vibrations transmitted by the propellers.
The rotation of the propellers generates airflow, which exerts aerodynamic forces on the propellers themselves and surrounding components, leading to phenomena such as vortex shedding and aerodynamic noise. These aerodynamic forces cause oscillations and vibrations in different directions, especially in the case of large turboprop engines.
To address these operational conditions, we have developed a dual-plane vibration isolation system specifically designed for large turboprop engines. This system consists of multiple high-temperature-resistant rubber isolators and a torque compensation system, effectively suppressing vibrations and transient torques in turboprop engines. We possess independently developed high-temperature vibration-reducing rubber materials, simulation capabilities for nonlinear elastic products, and the ability to design and develop vibration isolation systems. We have successfully developed the first domestically produced dual-plane aviation turboprop engine vibration isolation system, breaking the foreign monopoly, and have successfully integrated it with the engines.
